Kidz Court

October 23rd is an exciting day at Rock Orlando Center for Transformation as it is the ribbon cutting ceremony unveiling their new and improved basketball courts.  Kingdom Courts, a family organization that has a mission to help revitalize basketball courts in the neighborhoods of Orlando has generously given their time and resources to make this dream come true at the Rock Orlando facility.  “It has been our desire for sometime now to utilize the basketball courts not only for the neighborhood kids but also the children we are bringing in from our bus ministry every Saturday from Parramore” said Dexter Sanders, senior Pastor of Rock Orlando.  “This truly is a blessing and answer to prayer”, Sanders states.   Kidz Rock, one of Rock Orlandos outreach programs is designed to reach inner city children from 5-12 years of age to be brought over weekly to enjoy games, music, lunch and biblical teaching in a fun,  energetic and safe environment.  Now, the courts will provide these youth with even more to do Sanders adds.  The ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled to start at 1pm with games and lunch provided.  There is also a rumor that there will be a guest appearance from the Orlando Magic mascot Stuff the Magic Dragon who plans to hang out with the kids and sign autographs.  The public is welcome to be part of the festivities and all will be held at the Rock Orlando Center for Transformation located at 4710 Adanson St, Orladno.  For more information contact Pastor Sanders at pastorD@rockorlando.org
